Not good for Windows |

I bought this card a couple years ago, before it was decided it doesn't work well with Windows. However I have found under Windows XP Pro this card can real-time view/capture from a single camera @ 30 fps. Add another camera and real-time view drops to 10 fps, capture rate drops to 5-6 fps (using LuxRiot). Only gets about 3-4 fps with 4 cameras.

After trying a number of the 4-input, single-chip BT878 solutions, I finally bit the bullet, and bought this card. I should have started with it. Not only does it use fewer PCI slots, but Linux 2.6.16 kernel recognizes it right off without having to read through the bttv header files to specify the card id. Works great in my "motion" based security system.

Card works ok, but hard to find good WDM drivers. The stock drivers don't seem to allow access to the video stream from more than one application at a time. Need better drivers !
