- Video4Linux (1|2) compliant
- Software compression capture card
- Video recording at 120FPS (Real time for each port)
Video4Linux support
The PV-149 has four on-board BT878a (Fusion) chipsets. The Linux kernel will automatically recognize this card and load four video devices. Any software that supports the Video4Linux API (Zoneminder / Motion / xawtv) can access four independent video streams.
Ease of installation
It's really as easy as it sounds. Install the capture card and when the system boots you will have four video devices (/dev/video0 - /dev/video3 on most systems)
Zoneminder Support Zoneminder is a free and very popular open source security application. While paid support does exist (http://www.zoneminder.com/support.html) most of the support is community based (http://forums.zoneminder.com). We currently do not provide paid support for installing or troubleshooting Zoneminder. We will assist you setting up the equipment you purchased in case you run into problems.
If you require a commercially supported application or support for audio or GPIO (Sensor / Relays) then look at our Ubuntu based surveillance application (http://store.bluecherry.net/category_s/115.htm or http://www.bluecherrydvr.com)
