OUR NEW SUPPORT SUBSCRIPTION

In order to keep our software licenses affordable we now offer a Bluecherry yearly support subscription.  This is recommended for customers who need priority support or have large camera deployments.  Customers who purchase a Bluecherry subscription receive priority email support (usually answered in 2 hours), live chat support and phone support along with our support on the community forums.  Customers who purchase the support subscription will receive 50% off future Bluecherry major release cycles (version 3, version 4, etc).

Pricing

If you have determined that this software suits you well, please consider purchasing a license.

The personal / small business licenses include community forum support and email tickets (usually answered the next business day).
Enterprise subscriptions are available. These are yearly subscriptions and include priority email support (first response is usually 2-4 hours) and phone support (8×5)

Why are we charging for support?

Our developers like to get paid, and we’d sure like to continue to offer enhancements to the software.  In order to keep our support staff working hard and put our developers working on development we decided to extend the support options for our software.

What is covered in the paid support options?

We’ll cover the following:

  • Issues with the Bluecherry software (client, driver or server) will receive priority support and you’ll work directly with developers to resolve the issue.
  • Assistance with adding storage devices
  • Assistance with adding cameras
  • Installation of the server software
  • Migrating Bluecherry server from one computer to another (Enterprise versions only, limited to one site per year)
  • Assistance with adding email notifications, SMTP servers, etc

We can’t cover basic system administrative issues such as  diagnosing a non-Bluecherry server, networking issues (VPN, etc), disk drive issues, or things that require on-site service (installation of cameras, fixing a non-booting server, etc).

Pricing for the yearly subscription is below and can be purchased online.

Personal / Small business Enterprise
4 camera support $50 ($40 for residential users) $75/year
8 camera support $90 $150/year
12 camera support $130 $225/year
16 camera support $170 $275/year
24 camera support $245 $375/year
32 camera support $315 $450/year
64 camera support $480 $700/year
